On February 14, 2019, Midori attended the 42nd annual Governing Council of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) of the U.N. in Rome. She speaks about her visit to an IFAD-supported project in Viet Nam last December with her non-profit Music Sharing, telling world leaders to believe in the power of women and girls in remote rural communities.
