Legendary pianist Sir András Schiff returns to North America in October 2022 for his first North American concerts in three years. The great pianist’s authoritative, profoundly considered performances have often been combined with invaluable spoken introductions to the works he plays. Mr. Schiff now prefers to maintain an element of surprise in terms of the exact programs of his recitals and will announce the program from the stage at each concert (except for The Goldberg Variations on October 5 and 20). He is the New York Philharmonic’s Artist-in-Residence for the 2022-2023 season over the course of seven concerts in April 2023.
