Juho Pohjonen's debut at the Mostly Mozart Festival was met with rave reviews from New York Times music critic Anthony Tommasini.
Of the Tuesday night performance, Tommasini writes, "The Mozart concerto was rewarding from start to finish... he played with beautiful colorings and articulate touch, especially in the rousing, high-spirited finale. Every note spoke, and he had a musical idea about every phrase... Tickets may be hard to get for Mr. Pohjonen's late-night appearance on Friday."
