Today it was announced that Finnish pianist Juho Pohjonen has joined the European and Asian roster at Germany-based management agency Liu Kotow:

Celebrated as one of Finland's most outstanding pianists, Juho Pohjonen appeared as a soloist with Los Angeles Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Baltimore Symphonies, Danish National, Malmö, Finnish Radio Symphony, Swedish Radio Symphony, Helsinki Philharmonic, Scottish Chamber and Philharmonia Orchestras,
Mr. Pohjonen made his debut with Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich performing Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Piano Concerto with conductor Lionel Bringer in 2015.
He has given recitals in New York (Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center), Washington, D.C. (Kennedy Center), San Francisco, Vancouver, Detroit and in London (Wigmore Hall), Hamburg, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Antwerp, at the Lucerne Piano, Gilmore, Bergen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festivals and at Beethoven-Haus in Bonn. Juho Pohjonen was selected by Sir András Schiff as winner of the Klavier Festival Ruhr Scholarship in 2009.
The announcement was made just ahead of the "positively electrifying" (Plain Dealer) pianist's North American recital tour opener in Washington, DC.
